About Me
I'll meet you where you're at and offer a space to build a trusting, caring relationship, which is the key to change.
Alongside talking therapy I offer creative therapies, sand-tray and
eco-therapeutic approaches.
Often big feelings and experiences are held in the body - I work somatically taking this into account and supporting you to see your body as an ally. I work with this in a trauma-informed way.
I work in a Secondary school in Devon counselling people aged 11-18 yrs.
I have several years of therapeutic experience, including massage therapy, facilitation and grief tending.
I have attended courses on conflict facilitation/mediation, nature-connection and a great Brene Brown programme on dealing with shame.
What I offer
An integrative, holistic approach
I offer individual therapy. I work outside in nature as well as indoors. I offer online and in person sessions with adults and young people (11+).
I offer support around a variety of issues including:
Anxiety, depression, loss, anger, transitions, relationships, isolation, self-esteem, body-image, identity, burn-out, overwhelm and when things just feel too much.
I welcome people new to counselling and those who may have had a difficult experience previously with a therapist.
Together we can explore and discover relevant and useful tools to support you in your life.
Counselling with young people
I work with secondary school children aged 11-18 yrs at a school based in Devon. I also work with young people in nature - and their families - struggling with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
I offer a non-judgemental relationship to support a space where dialogue can be developed and trust built. I can integrate creative art and playful approaches which opens the possibility to communicate in an accessible way.
